The Board of Directors of Fortis Properties announced today that Mr. Terry Chaffey has been appointed Vice-President Real Estate of Fortis Properties, effective May 23, 2008.  He succeeds Mr. Wayne W. Myers who will be retiring from the role.

 

Mr. Chaffey has fulfilled several senior leadership roles since joining Fortis Properties in 1999.  He has held the position of General Manager at three hotels within the Fortis Properties portfolio, including the Company’s largest hotel, the Delta St. John’s Hotel and Conference Centre.  His current position as Director, Hospitality Operations, has him overseeing hotel operations across the Atlantic Canada Region.
