Fortis Properties Corporation, a leading owner/manager of office buildings and hotels throughout Atlantic Canada, announced today the official opening of the Four Points by Sheraton Halifax Conference Centre.

The Conference Centre is located in company-owned Maritime Centre and adds an additional 4,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space to the hotel, bringing full banquet facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton Halifax to total 5,500 square feet. The Conference Centre includes Compass Room, which can accommodate groups of 200, the Explorer Boardroom, an executive boardroom for groups of 40 and Navigator Room, which can accommodate groups of 90. Services available include catering, wireless high-speed Internet access, video and teleconferencing, and LCD projector rentals.
